KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Sophomore wide receiver
Skyy Moore racked up career-highs in receiving yards (163) and touchdowns (two) in a 24-17 victory at Buffalo on Saturday, and was named the Mid-American Conference Western Division Offensive Player of the Week.
Moore had a 12-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter, and a crucial 64-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter with under 10 minutes to go.
Saturday marked Moore's third-consecutive game with 10 or more receptions and 100 or more receiving yards.
Western Michigan has its home MAC opener on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m. against Ball State inside Waldo Stadium. The game will be aired live on ESPNU and the Bronco Radio Network.
