KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team hosts Detroit Mercy on Wednesday at 4 p.m. to wrap up non-conference play.
The Broncos (5-6-4, 1-3-0 Mac) have just three games left on the regular season schedule, traveling to Bowling Green on Saturday and then hosting Akron next Thursday at 4 p.m. in the regular season finale.
WMU heads into Wednesday after splitting on the road down in Georgia. Western Michigan fell to MAC newcomers Georgia State, 2-0, before defeating Georgia Southern 3-0. In the win the Broncos got goals from

SCOUTING THE TITANS
Detroit Mercy (4-4-5, 3-2-3 Horizon) is in a run of good form heading into Wednesday. The Titans are 3-1-3 in its last seven games with the lone loss coming in overtime at Northern Kentucky. Most recently the team battled Robert Morris to a 0-0 tie.
UDM averages 0.92 goals per game and gives up the exact same amount. Senior midfielder/forward Demetri Pliakos leads the team with eight total points on five goals and three assists. Kyle Bandyk and Samory Powder also each have three goals this season, to make up the majority of their goal scored. Redshirt freshman Jonathan Kliewer has played every minute in goal, making 47 total saves and five shutouts.
DOWN AT THE FARM
WMU has two of its final three games at the WMU Soccer Complex, where the team has had much more success than on the road. The Broncos are 4-2-2 at home this season, outscoring opponents 11-7 in eight games. All four of WMU's wins have been shutouts

Charlie Sharp has two.
Daniel Nimick and Caden Jackson have each recorded three assists.
