KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team wraps up its fall competition at the Charles Braun Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Evansville on Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament is just 36 holes and will be played at Oak Meadow Country Club in Evansville, Ind., The course measures out to 6,213 yards and is a par of 72. The Broncos will take on the host Aces, along with Chicago State, Green Bay, Illinois-Chicago, IUPUI and North Alabama.
Both rounds being at 10 a.m. with live scoring provided at www.GolfStat.com.
The Broncos are coming off a 10th-place finish at the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic last weekend. Junior Alissa Fish kept up her streak of finishing in the top 20 of ever single tournament so far this season. The Braun Intercollegiate will be WMU's third 36-hole tournament this season.
Western Michigan resumes its season on Feb. 7-8 for the annual Mid-American Match Play Challenge hosted by Bowling Green in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. After that the Broncos head to their home away from home for the annual Rio Verde Invitational on Feb. 25-27 at the Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde, Ariz.
