Men's Tennis Recruiting Class Ranked 18th-Best Among Mid Majors

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis program has had its incoming recruiting class ranked No. 18 among mid majors by the Tennis Recruiting Network.

The program and head coach Dave Morin bring in five new student-athletes for the 2020-21 season. Joaquin Caballer (Spain), Ben George (Richmond Hill, Ontario), Brogan Pierce (Batavia, Ill.) and Jackson Boone (Vancouver, British Columbia) signed back in November. WMU then added Ferdinand Schluter (Hamberg, Germany) and Idaho transfer Fynn Lohse (Kaltenkirchen, Germany) in May (Lohse did not factor into the rankings).
 
Caballer is WMU's highest ranked recruit according to Tennis Recruiting Network with a TRN of 28 and a Universal Tennis Rating of 11.95. George has a TRN of 80 and a UTR of 11.59, while Pierce has a TRN of 139 and a UTR of 11.09. Pierce is also considered a four-star recruit by the publication. Boone and Schluter also have UTR's of 11.77 and 11.23.
