Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan finished last season with an overall record of 18-13 and 10-8 in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos have seven players returning from last year's squad while welcoming five newcomers. This off-season, WMU lost 81.2 percent of its total offense from last season.
Letting the Three's Fly
Last season, WMU knocked down a program-record 225 three-pointers. Breaking the record of 222 set in 2018-19.
Starting the Season Strong
Under head coach
Shane Clipfell, the Broncos are 6-2 in season openers. Western Michigan has won eight straight home openers and has never lost a home opener under Clipfell.
Home Sweet Home
Western Michigan captured 10 wins at home last season. It was the first time since 2014-15 the Broncos have won 10 or more games at home.

WMU's 10 league wins a year ago was tied for the ninth most in program history and the most since 2014-15. It was the second double-digit league win total under Clipfell.

After Saturday's contest the Broncos will hit the road for two straight beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 9 against in-state and MAC rival Central Michigan. Following it's match-up with the Chippewas, WMU travels to Valparaiso on Saturday, Dec. 12.
