KALAMAZOO, Mich.  –  Western Michigan men's basketball announces its annual Breakfast with the Broncos event is set for Saturday, Oct. 5, with doors opening at 9:00 a.m. inside University Arena.

There is no admission charge to the event with breakfast being provided by Maggie's. Fans coming to the event will also receive a FREE Western Michigan men's basketball long sleeve shirt (while supplies last) along with the official 2019-20 men's basketball poster.

It will be the first opportunity to check out the 2019-20 squad as the Broncos will complete in two scrimmages starting tentatively at 9:45 a.m.

Following the scrimmages, select Broncos will compete in a three-point shooting contest along with dazzling the crowd in a dunk/lay-up line. Fans will also have the opportunity to speak and ask questions with head coach Steve Hawkins during the event. 
The 2019-20 team will be available at the end of the event for autographs.

The 2019-20 campaign is right around the corner as the Broncos will hit the court for its only exhibition contest on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2:00 p.m. against Kalamazoo College. WMU begins the regular season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 6 against McNeese State.
