Tim Lester talking about his goals for the 2019 season and what he has learned in the past two years as a head coach.
Lester, who was inducted into the Western Michigan Hall of Fame in 2011, has been pleased with this year's fall camp. The Wheaton, Ill., native owns a 13-12 record as head coach of the Broncos. Prior to being named the WMU head coach on Jan. 13, 2017, Lester had been an assistant coach for the Broncos in 2005 and 2006.
Western Michigan has 18 practices during fall camp before opening the season Saturday, August 31 against Monmouth. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on ESPN3.Â
