Dugan Named MAC West Co-Player of the Week
On Monday the conference announced that senior
Seth Dugan has been named MAC West Co-Player of the Week after averaging 26 points and 12.5 rebounds in two games last week.
Double-Double Dugan
Dugan ranks third in the MAC and 31
st in the NCAA with eight double-doubles this season. The Otsego, Mich., native has registered back-to-back double-doubles with 23 points and 15 rebounds at Ohio and 29 points and 10 rebounds vs. Eastern Michigan.
Dugan Dominant in MAC Play
Dugan has been a dominant scoring option for the Broncos during conference play, averaging 16.4 points and 9.4 rebounds in MAC play. The senior center is also shooting 56.8 percent from the field against conference opponents.
Flowers Continues to Score
Sophomore
Michael Flowers continues his stellar sophomore campaign, ranking second among underclassmen in the MAC in scoring at 15.6 points per game.
High Scoring Trio
The trio of Flowers, Dugan and senior
Josh Davis have led the Broncos this season with each player averaging in double figures. The trio has accounted for 59.5 percent of WMU's total points.
Scouting the Opponent
Central Michigan has an overall record of 15-6, 4-4 in MAC play and is coming off an 86-62 win over Eastern Michigan on Tuesday. The Chippewas are led by Larry Austin who ranks fifth in the conference with 17.4 points per game. As a team CMU leads the MAC, averaging 84.7 points per game.
