KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team will host No. 3 North Dakota on Saturday for Military Appreciation Night at 7:05 p.m.
The Broncos will be wearing special jerseys to honor those who have and are serving in the armed forces. The jerseys will be auctioned off at www.wmubroncos.com, beginning immediately after the conclusion of Saturday's game. The auction will run until Friday, Dec. 13 at 11:59 p.m. The jerseys will be revealed to the public on Thursday morning via the WMU Hockey Twitter (@WMUHockey), Instagram (@WMU_Hockey) and Facebook (/WMUHockey).
Commemorative pucks will also be sold at the game. A portion of the proceeds from the puck sales and jersey auction will go to the Western Michigan University Office of Military and Veteran Affairs.
The Broncos also host the National Collegiate Hockey Conference-leading Fighting Hawks on Friday at 7:05 p.m.
