CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan women's soccer team landed three student-athletes on the All-Mid-American Conference Team, with sophomore forward Morgan Otteson named to the First Team and junior midfielder Bailey Korhorn and senior defender Savanna Bosworth named to the Second Team.

Otteson finished tied for the conference lead in goals scored with eight and game-winning goals with four. Only statistics from MAC games are considered by the coaches for the All-MAC teams and season awards during voting. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native finished second in the conference in total points with 16.  She also recorded 35 shots on goal during the conference season. It's the first honors for Otteson, who led WMU with 10 goals overall this season.

Korhorn finished the conference season with eight points in 10 games on three goals and two assists.  She had a goal and an assist in WMU's 3-3 tie against Kent State, an assist in the 2-0 win at Miami and a goal in the 2-1 win at Akron. She also scored in a 3-2 loss to Eastern Michigan. Korhorn recorded 26 total shots during MAC play and earns the honors for the first time in her career.

Bosworth started and played in nine of the 10 MAC games this season. As a centerback she helped the team record three shutouts and pushing the Broncos to a third place finish in the regular season with a 4-3-1 record in the games she played. This is also the first honors for Bosworth, ending her career on a high note.
