KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After a split with Omaha over the weekend, the Western Michigan hockey team spends its second straight week ranked No. 20 in the US College Hockey Online.
The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including coaches and beat writers and sports professionals from across the country. The poll, published weekly by the Associated Press, is a production of USCHO.com, which provides in-depth coverage of college hockey.
This the sixth week the Broncos have spent in the top 20 this season.
The poll sets up another ranked showdown for Western Michigan this weekend. WMU travels to take on No. 4 Denver on Friday and Saturday at 9:07 p.m. ET. Both games can be heard live on the Bronco Radio Network and streamed live on NCHC.tv.
The Broncos also received 12 votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
