Scouting the Opponents
Buffalo (5-13, 1-5 MAC): Buffalo heads into Friday's match having lost its last four matches and has an overall home record of 4-6. Last weekend the Bulls were swept at home by Kent State prior to falling to Ohio in five sets.
Akron (12-5, 5-1 MAC): Akron sits atop the MAC East standings, having won 10 of its last 11 matches highlighted by a nine-match winning streak. Last weekend the Zips split a pair of four-set matches, falling to Ohio and defeating Kent State. Prior to Saturday's match-up, the Zips square off with NIU on Friday.
