This year's men's basketball home schedule features 16 games with five non-conference opponents coming to Kalamazoo and nine Mid-American Conference contests. WMU will be challenged at home with match-ups against Detroit, Milwaukee, defending MAC West Champion Toledo and defending MAC Tournament Champion Buffalo.

The women's basketball home schedule features 16 homes games, with fourth straight to open up the season beginning on Thursday, Nov. 8 against Purdue Fort Wayne. The Broncos also have a marquee match-up at home against NCAA Tournament team and in-state rival Michigan on Thursday, Nov. 15.  The MAC slate features eight home games beginning on Jan. 9 against Akron and concluding on March 9 versus Northern Illinois.
