Men's Basketball Game Against Miami Picked Up by CBSSN

CLEVELAND – In partnership with CBS, the Mid-American Conference announced on Tuesday that the Western Michigan men's basketball team's game against #23 Miami has been selected to air nationally on CBS Sports Network. Originally scheduled to be the second game of a basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 28, the contest against the RedHawks will now slide to Friday night, Feb. 27, with a tip time of 6 pm at University Arena. The women's game against UMass will remain at noon on Saturday, Feb., 28.

The game between Western Michigan and Miami marks the first contest for the Broncos to be selected as a part of the league's national television package this season. It will be the first game on CBS Sports Network for the Broncos since claiming a Senior Night victory over Akron on March 8, 2024, which clinched a spot for WMU in the MAC Tournament.

In the first meeting this season between the Broncos and RedHawks on Jan. 6 down in Oxford, Ohio, Western Michigan held a second-half lead over Miami before the hosts rallied to claim an 87-76 victory.

Following a three-game road swing, Western Michigan returns to University Arena on Wednesday evening, Feb. 11, for a rematch against Toledo. Tip against the Rockets is scheduled for 7 pm. For tickets to any WMU men's basketball home game, visit wmubroncos.com/tickets.
