KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan golf team and head coach Elise Swartout-Mosher have announced the signing of Alissa Fish to a National Letter of Intent to join the golf program in the fall of 2019.
Fish starred at Columbia Central High School in Brooklyn, Mich., winning back-to-back individual Division 4 State Championships in 2017 and 2018. Fish was also named All-State in 2016 and 2017, while earning 2018 All-State Super Team honors. She is also a stellar student, posting a 4.20 GPA.
"Alissa is going to be a great addition to the Bronco family," said Swartout-Mosher. "She is a talented golfer and student. I believe she will have an immediate impact with the team. Her hard work has shown in her results and we are looking forward to her career as a Bronco."
The WMU golf team is in the midst of its winter break and resumes play on Feb. 4-5 down in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., for the annual Mid-American Conference Match Play Challenge hosted by Bowling Green.
