Men’s Basketball Signs Guard B. Artis-White

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan men's basketball head coach Steve Hawkins announced the signing of point guard B. Artis-White to the 2019 recruiting class during the early signing period on Friday.

Artis-White joins forward Chase Barrs as part of the 2019 recruiting class.

"B. Artis-White can really shoot the ball. Some players have to be set up for a shot but he can create his own which is not a very common thing for a high school player to possess already," said Hawkins.

"Artis-White is also really quick and can penetrate defenses to create a shot for himself and others. Signing B. Artis-White continues to upgrade our ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter and space out the floor which is how basketball is being played today," said Hawkins.
