Women's Soccer Signs Four to NLI's

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team and head coach Sarah Stanczyk have announced the signing of four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

Jorden Campbell (Oakville, Ontario/Iroquois Ridge High School), Katie Sullivan (Ferndale, Mich./Marian High School), Alana Richmond (Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Central High School), Reagan Wisser (Richland, Mich./Gull Lake High School) will all don the Brown & Gold in 2019.

"We are really excited about our 2019 signing class," said Stanczyk. "We are adding four exceptional young women to our program. It's a very talented class filled with a tremendous amount of maturity and experience. We expect these women to make an immediate impact and help us strive for greater success and achievement as a program. We cannot wait to get them on campus and welcome them into our family."

Jorden Campbell | Midfielder/Defender | Oakville, Ontario/Iroquois Ridge High School
Campbell plays her club soccer for Hamilton United and has helped the team to a West Division Championship in 2016 and an Ontario Province Development League Cup in 2017. She was recently nominated for the League One "Up and Coming Young Player Award." Campbell was also a four-year honor roll student while competing in both soccer and track and field.

Katie Sullivan |  Defender | Ferndale, Mich./Marian High School
Sullivan helped lead Marian High School to a 2017 Catholic League Championship in 2017 before winning the Division II State Championship after a perfect 24-0-0 season. While at Marian she earned an AP Art Student award, a Religion Honor award and received an IHM Art Piece award. Sullivan, a member of National Honors Society, also competed for the track and field team and was All-State in the 4x200-meter relay.

Alana Richmond | Midfielder/Defender | Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Central High School
Richmond joins WMU after a successful club and high school career. At Portage Central she was a three-time All-State selection, earning First Team honors during her junior season. Richmond was also a three-time All-District, All-Region and All-Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference selection. She helped Midwest United FC to national runners-up in 2017 and won the 2018 Michigan Youth Soccer State Cup with Kingdom SC. Richmond was also a four-year member of Michigan's Olympic Developmental Program team.

Reagan Wisser | Forward | Richland, Mich./Gull Lake High School
Wisser joins the Broncos after leading Kingdom Soccer to a Premier 1 Championship in 2017 and 2018, along with a State Cup Championship in 2018. She helped Gull Lake High School to Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference Championships in 2016 and 2018, and a regional championship in 2018. At Gull Lake she was named First Team All-State in 2017 and 2018 and Second Team All-State in 2016. She was a runner up for Ms. Soccer in 2018 and was named a United States Soccer Coaches Association High School All-American after scoring 35 goals and 10 assists.
