Overall thoughts on the game...

North Dakota is a very resilient and determined team. you know every game is going to be a challenge for 60 minutes. Our guys competed and battled, we had great time of possession in their zone and a number of great scoring chances. A goalie is a part of the game and their goalie played very well. Lukas Hafner was very good tonight and we needed that.

On the penalty kill...

I thought first and foremost, one of the key things is that we took just three penalties. We were not in a situation to have to kill multiple penalties. When you're skating and moving your feet and you're the initiator of the physical contact rather than being the retaliator, you find those things work for you.

Overall thoughts on the game...

We liked our effort level and our compete level all night. We liked a lot of guys' games tonight. There were a few opportunities in the offensive zone that we would have liked to capitalize on but we're going to bring that same effort and compete level tomorrow.
