COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A win by Western Michigan's 4x400-meter relay squad capped off the final day of the Jesse Owens Track Classic at The University of Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.
Senior All-American
Andrea Arnold got the race off to a blazing start, giving WMU a big lead on the lead-off leg. The Broncos were able to maintain their lead with

Alexis Hull took over and gave the squad a win with a time of 3:43.45.
"I was really happy with Andrea's lead-off leg," said head coach
Kelly Lycan. "She ran the way you would expect a former All-American to run and if she runs like this way we will be right in the thick of things at any meet we go to."
Arnold also ran her fastest time of the season in the 200-meter dash at 24.52 seconds, taking eighth overall. Freshman

After recording a personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run on Friday night she took second overall on Saturday in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.73. Hodge was able to make a key move around the 400-meter mark to put herself in prime position to challenge Michigan State's Aubrey Wilderding but just finished shy of earning the win.
Sophomore
Artia Gunn saw improvement in the 100-meter hurdles after she finished with a time of 14.42 seconds, taking .50 off of her previous season's-best time.
