KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team placed four players on the College Sport Madness 2014 Mid-American All-Conference Team. Junior midfielder
Sean Conerty and junior defender
Connor Furgason were each named to the first team, while junior midfielder
Nick Wysong and sophomore defender
Hunter Vandenboom were named to the second team.
Furgason tied for a team-best four goals and also had two assists as a starting center back for the Broncos. Conerty led the MAC and ranked among the nation's leaders with 10 assists the season. His assist total is the second most in a WMU single-season history.
Wysong also had four goals and led the team with 12 points, as he also recorded four assists. As an outside back, Vandenboom registered three goals and one assist for seven points. Wysong and Vandenboom were two of three Broncos to start and play in all 19 games this season.
