 "Lake Superior has won five in a row for a reason; they're playing some solid hockey. Their coach does a great job and they are well organized. I really like their team. I like how well they play and their competitive level.  It was a battle and we had a number of opportunities that we would have liked to finish on. What you're trying to do is create chances, and our team worked their tails off tonight. We played as hard as we have played in any game this year. Our offense just couldn't score; I give credit to their goalie and their guys blocking shots. We've got to come back tomorrow and be better."

On  effort in tonight's game...

"You like the effort. Our guys played hard from the drop of the puck tonight. They are a gritty team, and they play really hard. They are just a tough team to play against, but I thought our guys battled."
