KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Western Michigan Athletics has announced that at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season,
Jim Culhane will be relieved of his duties as the head hockey coach of the Bronco hockey program. He has accepted a reassignment with the office of Development at WMU.
“After a very diligent evaluation of our hockey program, we have made the decision to move toward a new direction in terms of the leadership of Bronco hockey,''commented Western Michigan athletic director
Kathy Beauregard.
Culhane will coach the Broncos through the remainder of the 2009-10 campaign. A national search to find the new head coach of the WMU hockey program will begin shortly.
