Pregame 

WMU is seeking its first four-game win streak since winning five in a row between Dec. 23, 2009 and Jan. 9, 2010.

Each of the last two wins for WMU have come by one possession or less.

This is the second meeting all-time between the schools, with WMU winning 81-68 at South Dakota State on Dec. 7, 1957.

WMU is 2-2 against Summit League opponents under Steve Hawkins, with that record being compiled against IUPUI.

With a win, WMU have over a .500 winning-percentage for the first time this season.

WMU has had at least three players reach double figures in scoring in each of its first eight games this season.

This is the first of two consecutive games the Jackrabbits will play against MAC schools. They will also face Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, Dec. 21.

Starting five for WMU: PG Mike Douglas, SG Demetrius Ward, SF Nate Hutcheson, PF Flenard Whitfield and C Matt Stainbrook. WMU has used the same starting five in each of their first nine games this season.

Starting five for the Jackrabbits: G Nate Wolters, G Dale Moss, G Clint Sargent, F Griffan Callahan and F Jordan Dykstra.
