2018: Played in 19 games, starting 11 primarily in the outfield ... registered a .200 batting average with a .282 on-base percentage and five runs scored ... had two fielding assists ... Went 1-for-2 with a run scored against Villanova (March 6) ... registered lone RBI against Butler, going 1-for-1 at the plate (March 17).

2017: Played in 30 games and started 11 in the outfield ... had a .218 batting average with a .327 slugging percentage and .295 on-base percentage ... collected three doubles, 12 hits, one home run and five RBIs ... recorded a season career-high three stolen bases. 

2016: Did not play for medical reasons.

2015: Played in 34 games and started 13 primarily in the outfield ... batted .189 going 10-for-53 with one triple, three RBIs, six walks and seven runs scored ... went 2-for-4 with one RBI against Bowling Green (4/18) ... played in 18 conference games, batting .296 (8-for-27) ... hit first career triple at Eastern Michigan (4/5).

2014: Appeared in 16 games and made two starts, as the designated hitter vs. Bowling Green (4/6) and at third base vs. Valparaiso (5/7) ... batted .250, going 5-for-20 with an RBI and three runs scored ... hit a single in first collegiate at bat, pinch hitting at Louisville (2/21) ... went 1-for-3 with a run scored and RBI against Georgetown (3/8).

High School: Three year varsity starter ... member of 2013 state championship team  ...  apart of three straight Regional Championship teams  ...  All-Conference and Second Team All-Area in 2013 ...  had a .425 batting average with three home runs and 15 RBIs.

Personal: Son of Randy and Susan Filkins ... two siblings ...  father played for the New York Yankees from 1980-83 ... majoring in integrated supply management ... defeated cancer in 2016.
