2005:  Saw game action as a first baseman, second baseman and third baseman last season ... had a seven game hitting streak going from April 3 at Toledo until April 16 at Eastern Michigan ... collected first career home run versus UW-Milwaukee, May 10 ... went 3-for-4 that game with two runs and five RBI ... went 2-for-5 in a win over Illinois with three runs and two doubles ... ranked third on the team in doubles (12) and fifth in batting average (.275).

2004:  Began Bronco career with a strong freshman season ... played in 32 games including 16 starts and four mound appearances ... collected a .254 batting average ... made collegiate debut against Florida A&M which included a double, Feb. 27 ... was a multi position player for the Broncos ... went on a seven game hitting streak from Apr. 23 to May 5 ... earned best conference showing against Ohio after going 2-for-3 at the plate ... went 3-for-4 with one RBI versus Valparaiso ... was 2-for-3 with three RBI against Michigan State, May 12 ... had a season high 13 putouts versus Cleveland State, Mar. 8 ... made first mound appearance against Florida A&M, Feb. 27 ... pitched a total of 6.1 innings with six strikeouts for the season.

Grand Ledge High School:  Earned varsity letters in basketball and baseball ... helped lead the basketball and baseball teams to the CAC championships in 2002 and 2003  ... in 2003 Grand Ledge was ranked first in the state in baseball ... named first team all-state, all-conference in 2002 and 2003 ... voted MVP as a senior ... participated in the 2003 all-star game for the west team .. collected a .513 batting average with nine home runs and 52 RBI as a senior ... went 8-1 on the mound with 79 strikeouts ... graduated with a 3.9 GPA ... was a member of the honor roll ... ranked 24th in his class out of 419.

Personal:  Born in Lansing, Mich., Feb. 26, 1985 ... the son of James and Debi Maunus ...  has one sister, Leah.  Both parents attended Central Michigan.
