KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan baseball team has had its Home Opener scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, at 3:05 pm canceled due to field conditions. The Broncos are now slated to open up their 2026 home schedule on March 17 against Bethel University (Ind.).
 
Western Michigan now turns its attention to its first MAC series of the season this coming weekend, as it heads to Akron for a three-game set starting on Friday.
