KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball team released the remainder of its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Tuesday.   
 
The Broncos begin the 2025-26 campaign with the first game of the previously announced MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The first game of the challenge is set for Opening Night, Monday, Nov. 3, as WMU welcomes Coastal Carolina to University Arena. This season's second challenge contest will be on the road against a yet-to-be-announced Sun Belt Conference foe on Saturday, Feb. 7. The matchup for that game will be determined in January.
 
A few days after the opener on Nov. 6, the Broncos will turn around and have another home contest against Northwood. Western Michigan then hits the road for the first time on Nov. 9, as it heads down to Buies Creek, N.C., for its first-ever matchup with Campbell. WMU returns to University Arena on Nov. 12 to take on Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
Three of Western Michigan's four games over the second half of November will be road tilts. The Broncos begin that stretch on Nov. 16 at South Dakota, and then head down to Columbus on Nov. 20 to face Ohio State. The Brown and Gold welcome Mount St. Mary's to Kalamazoo on Nov. 23, and then close out the month at Valparaiso on Nov. 29.
 
December begins within the friendly confines of University Arena for the Broncos as they meet Southern Indiana on Dec. 3. A few days later, Dec. 6, WMU visits SIUE. Western Michigan makes its second trip to Big Ten country on Dec. 14 as it battles Iowa.

Following the MAC Opener against Buffalo on Dec. 20, WMU rounds out the home portion of its non-conference schedule with a pre-holiday matchup against Defiance College.
