Men's Basketball Adds Transfer Justice Williams

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball program and head coach Dwayne Stephens have announced the signing of Justice Williams, a transfer from Robert Morris. Williams is the eighth newcomer the Broncos have signed for the 2025-26 season, joining fellow transfers Jalen Griffith, Trey Lewis and Hudson Ward, as well as incoming freshmen Sharod Barnes (Ypsilanti, Mich.), Brady Swartz (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Camden Thompson (Whitehall, Mich.) and Carson Vis (Byron Center, Mich.).

"Justice is a very talented and skilled player," Coach Stephens said. "He can make his impact felt both offensively and defensively. He has seen a lot throughout his college basketball career. To add his experience to our group is a huge boost for our program. We are excited that Justice is joining the Bronco family!"

A Philadelphia native, Williams comes to Kalamazoo after spending two seasons at Robert Morris. In his first season with the Colonials, he started 29 of the 31 games he played in and averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest while connecting on nearly 83.0 percent of his free throw attempts. He missed all of the 2024-25 campaign due to injury.

Prior to his time at Robert Morris, Williams began his collegiate career at LSU. In two seasons with the Tigers, he played in a total of 43 games and earned eight starts. He saw action in 20 contests as a true freshman for an LSU program which won 22 games and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Ranked 70th in his class by 247 Sports, Williams began his high school career at Roman Catholic High School in the Philadelphia Catholic League before transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida for the 2020-21 season. He helped the Eagles to a 24-1 record and the GEICO National Title in 2021 and then reclassified from the class of 2022 to the class of 2021 in order to begin his collegiate career a year early.
