Audrey Smitek have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, released by the MAC on Friday morning.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer students in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season only are considered.
Frazier earns the honors for the first time in her career. The Scottsdale, Ariz., boasts a 3.60 GPA in sport management. Smitek earns the honors for the second time in her career, holding a 3.88 GPA in accountancy.
