ATLANTA – The Western Michigan baseball team dropped a 14-1 decision at Georgia Tech on Saturday in the middle game of the two teams' weekend series.

Georgia Tech picked up the first run of the game in the bottom of the first, but the Broncos answered back in the next half inning.
Marwynn Matthews Jr. delivered a two-out single to bring
Avery Thielman around and even the contest at 1-1.
The Yellow Jackets regained the lead with two in the bottom of the second.
In the top of the third, Western Michigan loaded the bases with two outs, but could not cut into the deficit.
Georgia Tech added one in the third and another in the fifth to make it 5-1, then tallied nine in the sixth to secure the victory.
