KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan track and field team will send its throws group to the Mike Lints Alumni Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State, on Saturday. The Broncos will compete in the shot put and weight throw.
The Brown and Gold will have
Bri'Yanna Robinson,
Tess Van Dyk,
Lane Hagens and
Kennedy Hagens competing in the shot put. Robinson is the school's record holder in the event, while Van Dyk sits fifth all time.
Kennedy Hagens and
Lane Hagens aren't too far off that pace, holding PR's of 13.08 meters and 14.00 meters, respectively.
Robinson,
Kennedy Hagens and
Thierry Campbell will all compete in the weight throw. Robinson has the ninth best mark in program history, while Campbell is competing in her second meet for the Brown and Gold.
Kennedy Hagens had a PR mark of 15.96 meters in her last outing.
The weight throw will begin at 1 PM EST, with the shot put to follow. The meet will take place at GVSU's Kelly Family Sports Center.
