Broncos Check in at No. 4 in Latest Polls

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After winning its series against Colorado College this past weekend, Western Michigan remained among the top teams in the nation in the latest national polls. 

The Broncos were ranked fourth in both the USCHO poll and the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll. WMU has been in the top five each of the last six polls. The Brown and Gold sit at 18-5-1 overall and 11-2-1 in conference play. 

Joining the Broncos in the national poll were Denver, Arizona State, North Dakota and Colorado College. St. Cloud State and Omaha were receiving votes. WMU currently sits atop the conference standings at 34 points. 

Western Michigan will be back at home this weekend to take on St. Cloud State. The Broncos and Huskies will hit the ice for the series opener on Friday, Feb. 7 at Lawson Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 PM. For tickets, visit WMUBroncos.com/Tickets
