Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Head coach Chad Wiseman and the Western Michigan men's soccer program have announced six games for the spring schedule. The Broncos are fresh off of a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance and two Sweet 16 berths in the last three seasons.

The Brown and Gold will open the spring season with a game against Purdue Northwest on March 15. The match will be played at the WMU Soccer Complex at 1 PM. WMU has never played a game against the Pride.

Next up will be a road match against Marquette on March 22. The two teams will take the field at 3 PM EST. The Broncos have two wins all-time against the Golden Eagles. Following that matchup, the Broncos will return to home to square off with Ft. Wayne at 12 PM. Western Michigan has 14 wins against PFW in its history.

After that, WMU will play a pair of games on April 6 at the WMU Soccer Complex. At noon, the Brown and Gold will take on Detroit. Then, the Broncos will square off with UI Indy at 3:45 PM. WMU has had success against Detroit, winning each of the last four meetings. The Broncos have never played UI Indy.

To close out the spring slate, Western Michigan will welcome Bethel to Kalamazoo on April 12 at noon. The Broncos have played Bethel just once in program history, earning a 3-2 victory back in 2001.
