KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team heads to Buffalo on Friday to take on the Bulls before returning home to host Northern Illinois on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Broncos have split each of their two weekend MAC series, including last week with a loss at NIU and a home win against Ball State. It was WMU's first win over the Cardinals since 2019, The Broncos clinched the win with
Karin Hamilton earning a victory at No. 2 singles to go up 4-1.
WMU is still searching for its first MAC road win of the season, having dropped ones against the Huskies and Toledo.
Western Michigan is one of four teams with a 2-2 conference record, joined by UB, BSU and Eastern Michigan. The Rockets lead the MAC with a 4-0 record, followed by Miami at 3-1.
The Broncos have another pair of home and away matches next weekend, hosting Eastern Michigan on Friday at 1 p.m. and then traveling to Ball State on Sunday.
