LAST WEEK
WMU locked up a spot in the MAC Tournament for the first time since 2019 after beating the Eagles at home, 6-1, and then defeating Ball State on the road, 5-2.
POLE POSITION
Western Michigan sits a top of the MAC West standings with a 6-2 record, ahead of the 4-4 Eagles and 4-4 Cardinals. The Broncos already hold the tie-breaker over the Cardinals after sweeping them.
A share of a MAC Regular Season Championship is also within grasp. The Broncos can claim a share if Toledo loses one of its matches to Ball State or Buffalo, and WMU sweeps EMU and Miami. WMU can also win the MAC Regular Season Championship outright with a sweep of EMU and MU and two losses by the Rockets.

Heading into the final week of the regular season, senior
Karin Hamilton is perfect in MAC singles play with a 6-0 record. She is 4-0 as Western Michigan's No. 2 and 2-0 at the No. 3 spot. Hamilton missed two MAC matches due to injury, the only two the Broncos lost this season.
Junior
Polina Khotko and senior
Lindsey Zieglar are near perfect in MAC singles play, both with 7-1 records. Zieglar has been WMU's No. 1 in all eight matches, while Khotko is 6-1 at No. 4 and 1-0 at No. 3.
