KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team heads to Toledo to open Mid-American Conference play against the Rockets on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Broncos had last week off and were last in action out at the University of Arizona, falling to the Wildcats 7-0 and to the University of Nevada, 4-1. The trip out West snapped the team's four-match winning streak.
 
Toledo was last in action back on March 5-7 in Charleston, S.C., falling to Charleston Southern and defeating the College of Charleston. The Rockets were the 2023 MAC Regular Season Champions after going 10-0 in conference play.
 
In their lone match last year, the Broncos narrowly lost to the Rockets, 4-3, in Kalamazoo.
 
Western Michigan returns home to host Bowling Green for its MAC home opener on Friday, March 22 at 1 p.m. WMU then heads to Northern Illinois to finish off the weekend on Sunday.
