"
Celebrating the history of women's empowerment within the Bronco Athletic Department and the Western Michigan University community was never meant to be only a one-year event," said WMU Director of Athletics, Dan Bartholomae. "We are thrilled to be gathering an exceptional group of women leaders from our community for a night of empowering the young women that represent our athletic program in a first-class manner. Many thanks to the Bronco Athletic Fund, Dr. Candy McCorkle, and the event committee for their efforts on this important night."
"I am extremely excited to be a part of this event," said Logan Case, a senior on the WMU Volleyball team. "As a fifth-year senior whose time as a WMU athlete is coming to a close, having the opportunity to learn from and see female leaders who are successful in their unique craft and career path will be so inspiring and beneficial to me as well as my teammates and peers."
"I am honored to moderate this empowering women panel, and I believe that through dialogue, we can create unity that inspires others," said Dr. Candy McCorkle. "I am looking forward to this celebration of strength and the unwavering spirit of women."
