KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The ninth-ranked Western Michigan men's soccer team tied Bradley University 0-0 Saturday afternoon at WMU Soccer Complex.
As a group, the men's soccer team remained aggressive throughout the contest and totaled eight corner kicks in the first half alone.
Overall, WMU rattled off 17 shots, including eight on target. However, The Brown and Gold were unable to put the ball into the back of Bradley's net.
Defensively, WMU limited the Braves to a total of five shots on target over the entirety of the contest. All five shots were saved by senior goalkeeper Colin Welsh, who secured his fourth shutout of the season and his second shutout over the last three games.
Historical Notes
The tie advanced WMU's record-breaking unbeaten streak to a 37th game without a loss. The Broncos have gone 429 days without suffering a defeat.
For the first time since the 2015, 2016, and 2017 seasons, The Brown and Gold have shut out opponents at least five times over three straight campaigns (2022, 2023, 2024).
