"They beat us in all phases of the game tonight. They are very deserving of the result."
In the final third, The Brown and Gold were outshot 14-13 on the night. BGSU would win the corner battle as well, totaling seven corner kicks compared to the Broncos five.

Historical Notes
The WMU men's soccer team began its unbeaten run with a 3-1 road victory over Utah Valley University on August 27, 2023. In total, The Brown and Gold would record 27 wins and 10 ties before suffering their first loss in 14 months Friday. Overall, the unbeaten streak would span over 434 days and served as the longest active unbeaten run until the conclusion of tonight's contest.
Team Captain Landon Fisher made his 79th appearance for the men's soccer team this evening. Fisher only trails alumni duo Charlie Sharp (2019-23) and Dylan Sing (2019-23) (89 appearances) for the most games played by a Bronco in program history.
