KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Fall season rolls on for the Western Michigan women's golf team, who heads to the 2023 Brittany Kelly Classic hosted by Ball State at The Players Club in Yorktown, Ind., beginning on Monday.
The Broncos are part of the 13-team field that features the host Cardinals, along with UNC Asheville, Loyola (Ill.), Ohio, Cleveland State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Western Illinois, Valparaiso, IUPUI and UIC.
This is WMU's third meet of the season, having previously turned in finishes of sixth at the A-Ga-Ming Invite and ninth at the Jennifer Duke Invitational last week. Both were 54-hole tournaments. Individually, WMU's top finishers have been Alissa Fish and Natalie Samdall. Fish took seventh at the A-Ga-Ming Invite and Samdall tied for 11th in Cincinnati.
The Broncos take next week off and then head to the annual Shirley Spork Invitational, hosted by Eastern Michigan at the Eagle Crest Golf Club beginning Oct. 2.
