KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team and head coach Ryan Tomlinson are excited to announce the addition of Polina Khotko for the 2023-24 season.
Khotko joins the Broncos after two seasons at Broward College, a top-five ranked junior college that discontinued all sports. While at Broward she was ranked the eight-best doubles player and 19th singles player in the Oracle/ITA NJCAA rankings. Prior to Broward she won 30 tournaments during her junior career and was the top-ranked U16 and U18 player in Belarus.
"I am really excited about the addition of Polina to our program next year," said Tomlinson. "She brings a wealth of international experience with her. She is a great student in the classroom and a standout on the court. She will have an immediate impact in our lineup next season."
While in Belarus, Khotko competed as a part of the national team and was a member of the Belarusian Junior National Olympic team. During her junior career she was ranked as high as 135 in the U16 rankings and has reached a UTR of 9.9.
