CLEVELAND – Western Michigan's Anton Arzhankin and Fynn Lohse have been named the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.

Arzhankin and Lohse went 2-0 as the Broncos (6-6, 2-0) opened up MAC play with a pair of wins over Binghamton and Buffalo. Against the Bearcats they secured the doubles point to break the 1-1 deadlock with a 6-2 win at No. 2 over William Morais Binnie and Andrew Fang. Against the Bulls, they gave the Broncos a 1-0 advantage in doubles with a win at No. 2 over Cheng Tang and Aleksandr Kalinin. WMU earned both doubles points on the weekend and the duo improved to 3-1 on the season.

This is the second time the duo has earned the honors this season.

WMU is on the road in MAC play this weekend, taking on Ball State at 1 p.m. on Friday and Toledo on Sunday at 1 p.m.
