KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball team makes the trek to Athens, Ohio to face the Bobcats of Ohio University for its fifth Mid-American Conference matchup.
The Bobcats and Broncos will play at the Convocation Center on Wednesday, Jan. 18 for a 7 pm tip-off.

As a unit, Western Michigan averages 67.3 PPG on 39.4 percent shooting from the field. The Broncos average 32.1 rebounds per contest, for a -5.4 rebound margin per game over their opponents. Northern Illinois proved to be a difficult matchup for Ohio, falling 78-66 to the Huskies on Saturday, Jan. 14. The Ohio Bobcats were led in scoring by Yaya Felder. Felder totaled 23 points, followed by Caitlyn Kroll and Jasmine Hale with 13 points each. Ohio shot 26-of-54 (48.1 percent) from the field, 8-of-23 (34.8 percent) from deep, and 6-of-8 (75 percent) from the line on the day. They scored 36 points in the paint, 15 off of NIU turnovers, and added seven bench points.
As a unit, Ohio averages 62.6 PPG on 22.4 percent shooting from the field. The Bobcats average 28.9 rebounds per contest, for a -13.2 rebound margin per game over their opponents.
