KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team will host its annual Fan Fest on Sunday, Aug. 14 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Waldo Stadium.
Admission and parking are free for the event. Fans are encouraged to park in lot 10 behind the Waldo Stadium press box.
The yearly gathering signals the kickoff of the Broncos' football season and allows fans their first opportunity to interact with the program, including meeting players and coaches with opportunities for photos, autographs and kid-friendly activities. Fans will also be able to participate in sports skills challenges with other Bronco teams, including a pass & set with the volleyball team, the women's basketball team will be showcasing their shooting skills, the softball team with a radar gun challenge, the hockey team featuring shooting & stick handling, men's tennis playing mini-tennis, gymnastics showcasing tumbling activities and the cheer and dance team will also be present for added activities.
WMU Ticket Office staff will be on-hand to help pick out seats for those who still need tickets for the 2022 season. Additionally, season ticket holders that chose to get physical tickets printed can pick up their season ticket packets at the ticket office the day of the event.

Western Michigan opens the 2022 season on the road at Michigan State on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The Bronco home-opener is on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 against the reining ACC Champion Pitt Panthers.
