KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan hockey's
Jacob Bauer,
Aidan Fulp and
Drew Worrad have been named 2021-22 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association All-American Scholars.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Both Fulp and Worrad earn the honors for the second time in their careers.
Bauer, a redshirt freshman defenseman, played in 34 games with one goal and four assists and a plus/minus of +7 in his first season of collegiate hockey. He registered a 3.88 GPA in the fall and backed it up with a 4.0 in the spring. Overall, he has a 3.97 GPA in accountancy.
Fulp, a sophomore, played in 34 games as a part of WMU's top defensive pairing. He had a career-high 13 points on two goals and 11 assists, while finishing +8. Fulp has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA during his career at Western Michigan, majoring in exercise science.
Worrad wrapped up his Bronco career playing in all 39 games with a career-high 45 points on nine goals and 36 assists. Worrad led WMU in scoring and earned Second Team All-NCHC honors. Worrad graduated in the spring with a degree in accountancy with a 3.89 GPA.
