CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan women's tennis team earned a Mid-American Conference-best eight Academic All-MAC selections for the 2021-22 season.

Maya Perkucin (3.95, biomedical sciences), senior
Kaitlyn Rogosch (3.46, civil engineering), senior
Taylor Smith (3.44, nursing), senior
Kristina Tiraspolsky (3.87, business), senior
Femke Tjon-A-Joe (3.63, business law) and senior
Elizabeth Trupp (3.65, nursing) all earned the honors.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Guadiana, Hamilton and Perkucin each earn the honors for the first time in their careers. Hamilton was one of just five student-athletes to sport a perfect 4.0. Rogosch, Smith, Tiraspolsky, Tjon-A-Joe and Trupp are all repeat honors.
