Women's Tennis Hosts VALPO on Friday at 1 p.m.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team is back in action on Friday, hosting Valparaiso at 1 p.m. at West Hills Athletic Club.

Admission is free and spectators are asked to wear masks at all time.

The match with the Beacons was originally scheduled for Feb. 5 but was postponed.

KEEP ON ROLLING
The Broncos head into Friday on a three-match winning streak having dispatched Bellarmine, Butler and Milwaukee. WMU has also been on a roll at home this season, going 4-1 so far this season.

Also rolling is sophomore Karin Hamilton. Hamilton opened the dual-match season with a loss to 120th-ranked Nicole Hammond of Michigan but has since gone on to win seven matches in a row and had one match go unfinished. The Calgary, Alberta native is also 7-4 on the season in doubles play.

SCOUTING THE BEACONS
Valparaiso is 6-2 in dual matches heading into Friday. The Beacons were in action last Saturday, defeating Marian University 7-0.

Olivia Czerwonka is 6-2 in dual singles matches so far this season, going 5-2 at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2. Her sister Claire is 5-2 with a 1-0 record at No. 1 and a 4-2 record at No. 2. It's no surprise that the sisters are paired together for doubles play and boast an 8-0 record at No. 1.

SOMEWHERE WARM
The Broncos head down south to take on Bethune Cookman on Tuesday, March 8 at 12 p.m. and are at home next on Thursday, March 17 at 1 p.m. against Illinois-Chicago.
