KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Major League Soccer has announced the list of over 360 players who are eligible for selection in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft presented by Adidas. Seven Western Michigan men's soccer student-athletes are eligible to be selected in the draft, which begins at 5 pm on Wednesday.

The MLS SuperDraft consists of three rounds, with each team allowed one pick per round - 88 total this year (one compensatory selection).
The first pick goes to expansion side St. Louis CITY SC, followed by the teams that did not qualify for the 2022 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and beginning with the team who had the fewest regular-season points. The remaining positions are ranked by the fewest regular-season points among the teams that were eliminated in the same round of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
The MLS SuperDraft takes place on Dec. 21. The Pre-Draft show starts at 4:30 pm EST, with the draft itself starting at 5 pm EST. Fans can watch the draft on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and MLS.com.
