THE FIRST SERVE
Following its four-match road trip, Western Michigan returns to University Arena for its final home weekend of the season against Eastern Michigan.

LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos split a pair of four-set matches last weekend to wrap up their road swing. WMU fell in four sets to Ohio on Friday evening, but bounced back to knock off Kent State in four on Saturday.

DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME
After finishing its regular season matches against the MAC East Division last weekend, Western Michigan's final five contests will come against West Division foes, in Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Northern Illinois. The Broncos are 1-4 against West Division foes thus far in 2022.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Eastern Michigan picked up its fourth MAC win on Saturday, a five-set victory over Akron. EMU's Raeven Chase is third in the MAC in total blocks (96), and fourth in both blocks per set (1.14) and hitting percentage (.334). WMU is 72-24 all-time against the Eagles and has won seven straight meetings.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
For the second time this season, WMU's Maggie King and Logan Case both earned MAC Player of the Week awards, with King claiming her fourth MAC West Offensive Player of the Week award and Case picking up her third MAC West Setter of the Week award on Monday. King has registered double-digit kills in eight straight matches for the Broncos and leads the conference in both kills (357) and total points (405.5). Case enters this weekend as the national leader in total assists (1,108) and is ranked third nationally in assists per set (11.79).

CLOSING IN ON 400
The victory on Saturday was the 398th as a head coach for WMU's Colleen Munson. Of her 398 wins, 346 have come with the Broncos, with the first 52 coming as the head coach at East Carolina.

ANOTHER MILESTONE ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan junior libero Andelyn Simkins enters the weekend with 986 career digs, just 14 shy of becoming the 12th player in WMU program history to surpass 1,000 career digs. Simkins has had 20 or more digs in four straight and double-digits in 15 straight matches for the Broncos.
