KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's basketball program and head coach
Clayton Bates has announced the signing of Shemani Fuller to its 2021-2022 recruiting class on Thursday.
Fuller completes the freshman class for this season, joining Cam Kimble,
Gus Etchison,
Jack Stefanski and
Owen Lobsinger.
"We are thrilled to add Shemani to our basketball family," said Bates. "Shemani will bring size, versatility and depth to our roster. He has a huge upside and an outstanding work ethic. We are excited to get him to campus."
The 6-8, 210-pound versatile forward is from The Bronx, New York. Fuller stared at NYC Catholic League powerhouse Cardinal Hayes, helping the Cardinals to a Catholic league title in 2019. Fuller spent last season at Woodstock Academy in Connecticut, and also spent his summers playing AAU basketball with the New York Lightning of the Nike EYBL Circuit.
